I am a reporter at The St. Augustine Record, specializing in the education beat. I also frequently write features, breaking news and political stories. I graduated from the University of North Florida in December 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and multimedia journalism.

Throughout college, I have participated in several internships, freelanced for magazines and ran a student newspaper. Upon completion of an extended internship with The Florida Times-Union and my graduation from UNF, I was hired at The Record and have worked for Morris Publications for two years.

I specialize in writing, editing, social media, HooteSuite, Social News Desk, research, and reporting.

I also understand the basics of website design, video editing, production, photography, marketing, and public relations.

I am completing my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate and will relocate to Vietnam in August to teach and freelance write.

My passions in life are story-telling, interacting with people, and sharing their stories.
